THE MUSICIAN- - - - -
Lately I've been doing meditation
music.
(Hear some of my other work) I like to work with trancey sounds that
get a person into the alpha state. This connects
them to their soul and away from the mentality
of logic and ego.
I always meditate before I record meditation
music and hold an intention of imprinting
healing and unconditional love while performing.
I ask for guidance and to be a vessel, to
be of service in some way to all souls on
earth and to the earth itself. We are one.
Sometimes I will use certain
note-to-chakra
correspondences, but usually
I just start
with the intention of the feeling
I wish
to convey, start playing, and
it all works
out.
For this project, I started creating
with
the first sign on the day of
the New Moon.
Each day, for 20 days, I would
sit with a
sign and meditate on the symbol
and its meanings,
then go to work creating the
music. I wanted
to stay in tune with the moon
and the earth.
A lot of my spiritual teaching
comes from
Kwan Yin, as channeled through
Marjorie Musacchio.

THE MUSIC - - - - -
This music is intentionally created with
resonant sounds, kind of like the singing
bowls. This sound contains harmonics -- different
variations of tone within the same note or
vibration. This has a profound healing effect
on the human.
This CD is intended to bring the listener
back to their Source vibration using the
symbolism and imagery of each of the 20 Mayan
glyphs. (See the Tzolkin page for more on this.)
Each sign has meaning and information to
impart to the listener from their soul, attuning
them to an ancient aspect of themselves.
I want to help people entrain their energy
to the highest vibrations that are available
and to be in harmony with the lunar and earth
cycles. The earth's spiritual vibration is
rising and we are being asked to rise with
it. Hopefully this music will help and will
foster wholeness and healing. This is the
intention.
As we attune to the new energies,
we link
past and present, logic and creativity,
East
and West, and in the process
become whole
and balanced.
As we approach 2012, the energies of the
earth will rise and peak in an evolution
of the ages. With our conscious effort and
willingness to attune to these new vibrations,
we will not only ease our own path, but the
earth's as well.
